SWEDISH HOSPITAL TEDDY BEAR CLINIC
Bring the whole family, and your favorite teddy bear, to the Teddy Bear Clinic hosted by Swedish Hospital. Medical students will show children what might happen when they visit the doctor. Children can have their teddy bears blood pressure taken or treated for various injuries or illnesses that their stuffed animals might need. We’ll be ready with bandages, First Aid equipment and balloons for our special patients!
”FIKA” SERVED BY SVEDALA BAKERY
Fika is not just a word, it’s a concept, used by everyone in Sweden. Fika is simply put taking a short break, enjoying a cup of coffee and a delicious Swedish treat with a good friend or two. Tempted? Svedala Bakery will provide us with the coffee and the Swedish treats, so please come and join us for a Fika!
GO TO SWEDEN
Accompany the Fika with the Sweden 2010 brochure, you’ll find it in the Go to Sweden booth. There you’ll also find everything you need to know about how to go to Sweden and what to do there. While you’re there, practice your Swedish skills by talking to a native speaker. We’ll be around and are happy to share “must know” phrases in Swedish.
