RAOUL WALLENBERG TRIBUTE DINNER

The Nordic Heritage Museum’s annual Raoul Wallenberg Dinner was initiated in 1994 by State Senator Ken Jacobsen to honor the legacy of Raoul Wallenberg. The event is a touchstone for the Scandinavian community as well as for our partners: the Ethnic Heritage Council, Washington State Jewish Historical Society, the Jewish Federation of Seattle, and the Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center.

Since 2008, the evening has been the pinnacle of a springtime exploration of Scandinavian humanitarianism at the Museum: the Raoul Wallenberg Lecture Series brings scholars in Scandinavian political science, sociology, and related fields, to Seattle to deliver lectures on topics relevant to social justice and Scandinavian society.
